Its been quite some time since I last used the Ricoh GX200, once my first choice for street shots. Since I hadn’t taken a single photo for days, I just shot a couple of street images. I also had the Leica M6 with the 50mm Elmar in my bag, but the Ricoh proved to be faster and stealthier for both scenes. The longer focal length also proved to be more suitable than the 50mm Elmar.
I am sure the TRI-X would have renderer the scenes with its unique look, but sometimes its just about making the photo, so you choose what (at that moment) seems to be the better tool.
